Tomoe's father the professor. Not much is known about the professor but he was very devoted to his little daughter Hotaru.

Hotaru is fond of buckwheat noodles and strongly dislikes milk. She also dislikes P.E because she is very weak. She is only strong when she is transformed into a scout. She was posessed by Mistress nine who made her steal Chibi Usa's heart crystal. Tomoe has a staff like Setsuna, it is called the Silence Glaive. She does well in world history. Tomoe has a strange hobby of collecting lamps. Her blood type is "AB". Sailor Saturn was born: January 6 (Capricorn). Her favorite stone is Fluorite. I beleive Hotaru's story is a sad one. Her father died trying to save her life. She was reborn without her memories (that were later given back to her) and she is also an alter being, the dark messiah. If that side of her is awakend world destruction would follow. When in that form Hotaru wears a dark purple gown. One of her little known attacks is "Death ribbon revolution" in where several purple ribbons come out of her glaive wich whip and tear at her enemy (or shall I say "victim"?) I think this attack is only used in the video game.
